Our bakers have once again ignored all laws of decency and baked up a storm so good it should probably be illegal. Here’s what’s strutting its stuff on the cake table this week:
🍏 Carolyn’s apple & cinnamon cake – fruit, spice, and everything nice. Basically health food if you squint.
🥕 Diane’s vegan carrot cake – dairy-free, egg-free, joy-full. Like a hug from a very wholesome rabbit.
🍋 Jackie’s lemon drizzle – sweet, sharp, and likely to start drama with your tastebuds.
😀 Kate’s flapjack – gloriously oaty chaos held together with golden syrup and vibes.
🥕 Nicki’s carrot cake x 2 – she doubled up. That’s how good it is.
🍫 Sarah’s chocolate cupcakes – rich, indulgent, and topped with joy.
🍰 Sue’s Victoria sponge – posh, classic, and definitely judging the other cakes.
🍫 Val’s devil’s food cake – dark, rich, and just a little bit naughty.
