It’s been a historic week for British sport, and we have plenty to celebrate this Saturday!
England’s thrilling 3-2 victory over hosts Mexico Sunday evening (early Monday morning for us!) already feels like one of those matches that will be talked about for years to come. On a night full of drama, the Three Lions produced one of their finest World Cup performances since 1966, booking a well-deserved quarter-final against Norway and keeping the World Cup dream alive. We really believe it could be: “Coming home!”
Meanwhile, Wimbledon has delivered its own fairytale. British wildcard Arthur Fery, ranked 114th in the world and playing in his first Grand Slam quarter-final, stunned world number 10 Flavio Cobolli to become the first men’s wildcard in 25 years to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals. His remarkable run has completely captured the imagination of tennis fans across the country.
