May is doing its thing, and the St John’s garden picnic tables are ready and waiting. There’s no better way to spend a Saturday morning than with a proper coffee (or tea) and a slice of something homemade. A light jacket and a good cake fix most things.

🍰 Diane’s Victoria Sponge with Jam and Buttercream: a proper classic, done with love.
